A nine-year-old Carmarthen girl has won an iPad Mini 2 in a Ziptales competition run to encourage use of library services such as eAudiobooks and online services.

Storm Evans was presented with her prize by Carmarthen Library Customer and Operations Assistant Mair Harries.

Carmarthenshire County Council executive board member for regeneration and leisure Cllr Meryl Gravell said: “Well done, Storm. Following her win, Storm’s family have become library members and are looking forward to making use of the library’s free services.

“These range from borrowing books, eBooks, eMagazines, eAudiobooks, MP3, and using online services such as Ziptales, which gives children access to hundreds of stories, games and puzzles to make reading fun
