The annual summer spectacle of lovely local crafts in a glorious garden setting is happening at the National Botanic Garden of Wales on Saturday and Sunday, August 6-7.

The Garden’s Summer Craft Fair will once again boast 30 stalls of locally hand-crafted products which can be found in the stunning surrounds of Lord Foster’s Great Glasshouse.

There’s a mouth-watering range on offer, too: including jewellery, ceramics, honey, handmade soaps, beeswax candles, lampwork, quilling, woodwork – and much more. Carmarthen Spinners will be in attendance as well as Pembrokeshire Falconry on both days, plus classic cars on Sunday!

Event organiser, Linsey Perry said: “It’s wonderful to welcome local craftspeople to the Garden and allow them to show their products – and in such a fantastic setting, too.”

She added: “Summer is the perfect time to visit our beautiful Garden; there’s so much to enjoy – visit our brand new Butterfly House, Plas Pilipala or our exciting new playground, straw bale maze and have a go at water zorbing too!”

It is also worth remembering that anyone buying a full-price ticket to the Garden between now the end of the year will be able to re-visit FREE of charge for seven days after their initial visit – and as many times as they like in those seven days.

The Garden is open from 10am to 6pm with last entry at 5pm.

Admission to the Garden is £9.75 (including Gift Aid) for adults and £4.95 for children over five.  Entry is FREE for Garden members and parking is free for all.
