It is with great sadness that we confirm the death of 19-year-old Katrina Evemy.
She had been in a critical condition in hospital since a serious incident at her Graig Avenue home in Llanelli on Thursday, April 13th. She died this morning (Wednesday, April 19) in the presence of her family.
Senior Investigating Officer DCI Ifan Charles said: “On behalf of Dyfed-Powys Police I extend deepest sympathies to the family of Katrina Evemy. Our specialist officers are continuing to support the family at this extremely difficult time.
“The death of Katrina means we are now investigating a murder.
“The investigation is on-going and all lines of enquiry are being followed.”
Anyone who witnessed or has information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact the Llanelli Incident Room by calling 101.
