Cwmamman United travelled to Taff’s Well (September 21) with high hopes especially after their latest derby win.
The Wellmen of Taff’s Well had other ideas of their own and needed to kick start their season,
It was the Wellmen who scored the solitary goal in this game in the first half.
Cwmamman tried to find a way back into the game and in fact hit the woodwork twice and felt they had legitimate claims for a penalty turned down. At one stage it looked as if the Blues had got back in the game when they felt the ball had crossed over the goal line only for the home goalkeeper to clear.
So Cwmamman were left high and dry in their trip to the Well.
Final Score
Taff’s Well – 1
Cwm – 0

                                                       Cwmamman support left disappointed.
