WITNESS APPEAL – WOMAN DIES AFTER SUSTAINING BURNS IN CHIP SHOP INCIDENT!

NEWS UPDATE

A 69-year-old woman has sadly died at Morriston Hospital on Monday, October the 29th.

She passed away after sustaining burns following an incident at the chip shop in Hermon, Carmarthenshire, at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, October the 23rd.

A 70-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail whilst the investigation is ongoing .

HM Coroner has been informed.

Anyone who visited the chip shop between 12pm and 3pm on Tuesday, October the 23rd, is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police. 

Anyone with information that can help officers with their investigation is asked to report it by calling 101. If you are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired text the non-emergency number on 07811 311 908.
