A DYING TOWN.

Something happened in Llanelli today, know what I mean?

It was more like ‘Only Fools And Horses’, that opening scene!

Our town was alive, it was buzzing with folk,

No, I’m not pulling your leg, no, it’s not a joke.

It was like stepping back in time, fifty years or more,

Who’d have thought something like this was at our door.

Food stalls galore, live music, crafts and fun,

And all beneath a warm autumn sun.

The atmosphere was electric, vibrant, one to savour,

As you sampled delicacies of every flavour.

It was the sort of day when you would frown,

If you heard someone say ‘Llanelli is a dying town’!
