A breath of fresh air is blowing this way,
Llanelli is getting better, day by day
New shops are appearing in Stepney Street,
Old buildings renovated and looking neat.
A state of the art cinema and lovely theatre,
That you just have to visit, sooner or later.
The music scene is getting stronger and stronger,
There’s no need to travel to Swansea any longer.
Although the previous work cannot be diminished,
We have to admit its not yet nearly finished.
We need to be patient and bide our time
And rid the years of accumulated grime.
But whatever is done to our beloved town
Its the people who are the jewel in Llanelli’s crown!
