My first album review is the new one from Ariana Grande, she first made the U.K charts in 2014 with number one hit Problem, featuring Iggy Azalea, she’s clocked up 18 top 40 hits, 4 number ones, 2 of them coming from the brand new album Thank u, next (title track), 7 Rings which samples My Favourite Things from the sound of music.
On to the album then Thank U, Next is her 5th U.K album, clocking up 4 top 10’s with 2 of them going to number 1, this is the follow up to Sweetner which got to number one August 2018, this new album is on course for the top spot on this weeks charts, with every song in my opinion a hit, a fine Pop/R ’n’ B sounding album, the album was created in the midst of personal matters, including the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller & breaking up with fiancé Pete Davidson.
