A 19 year-old man arrested in connection with a collision which occurred in Merthyr Tydfil town centre on Saturday night (28 September, 2019) has been released under investigation.
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident, who hasn’t yet spoken to police, to make contact.
The collision between a car and a pedestrian occurred at 10.45pm on (Saturday, 28 September, 2019) outside the Civic Centre on Avenue De Clichy.
The 18 year-old pedestrian involved in the incident was taken to Prince Charles Hospital where he is being treated for life-changing injuries.
