Search continues for missing person Michael O’Leary from Nantgaredig

Dyfed-Powys Police is continuing to lead the search for 55-year-old Michael O’Leary, from Nantgaredig, who was reported as missing on Monday evening, January 28th 2020.

Police search teams, police dogs, the Mountain Rescue Team and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service are involved in the search which includes house to house enquiries and a search of the Capel Dewi area where his vehicle was located. The search includes nearby woodland, the river Towy and the river banks from Capel Dewi down to Quay Street, Carmarthen.

Family and friends who are keen to be involved in the search are being guided by the Mountain Rescue Team to ensure their safety and that search areas are not compromised.

Anyone who has seen Michael since Monday night or anyone who may have information relevant to the search is asked to contact police on 101.”
