“Buffy is the real deal”  – BAKE OFF STAR SUE PERKINS ENDORSES WELSH LABOUR’S BUFFY FOR RHONDDA

Sue Perkins has given a very personal endorsement of Welsh Labour’s Buffy Williams, as she fights to win back Rhondda for Labour in the Welsh Parliament (Senedd) elections.

The pair first met when Perkins, Mel Giedroyc and Mary Berry visited Buffy and fellow volunteers at a community centre in Pentre, Rhondda to surprise them with a party celebrating their great work in the local community.

Sue has now released an endorsement video through Buffy’s Facebook page.

In her personal endorsement, Sue Perkins said:

“I’m delighted to be endorsing Buffy Williams as the Labour candidate for the Rhondda. In all my travels I’ve rarely met someone as passionate and commitment to the their local community.

“Buffy is the real deal. She’s one of those people who really renews your faith and hope in humanity. If you have a vote spare, I can think of no one better in this world that you could cast it for – so vote Buffy!
