After a year spent at home in lockdown and with a summer staycation on the horizon, Katy and Danny Hassell from Buckinghamshire decided it was time to re-design their outdoor space. The slopped garden was no longer fit for purpose and wasn’t suitable for entertaining, so the couple invested in having it professionally landscaped so they could enjoy the summer months outside with family and friends.

A hot tub, bespoke feature lighting and a space for entertaining were high on the agenda for the couple. After spending months planning, the couple sought advice from a NICEIC registered electrical contractor to ensure the work was completed safely and installed to the highest industry standards.

Katy comments “We decided during lockdown that we wanted to get the garden professionally landscaped as we weren’t making the most of the space. We were set on having outdoor lighting from the beginning as feature lighting can really open up an area, especially as our garden backs onto woodland which gets very dark at night.

“Alongside patio downlights, we also had a hot tub and sockets installed, so it was imperative we used a professional contractor. After months of hard work, our garden is complete, and we’re thrilled with the end result. Our NICEIC registered contractor was absolutely fantastic and we can now relax and enjoy our garden well into the evening without any safety concerns.”
