More than six thousand school children and their teachers enjoyed free book events at Hay Festival today, with countless more watching online.
Festival speakers on the Schools programme include Dr Ranj, Abi Elphinstone, Bear Grylls, Waterstones Children’s Laureate Joseph Coelho, National Eisteddfod winner Mererid Hopwood, Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Laura Bates and Jeffrey Boakye among others.
Hay Festival runs until Sunday, June 4.
