A full week of free activities is set to take place at Rhymney Library Hub this June as part of National Wellbeing Week 2025, celebrating the 5 Ways to Wellbeing: Connect, Get Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give.
Running from Monday 23th to Friday 27th June, each day will feature a themed programme of free events and support services designed to promote positive mental and physical wellbeing in the community.
From seated yoga, dog rescue demos and Spanish tasters, to craft sessions, healthy eating talks, and a community plant swap, the week offers something for all ages and interests. The celebration concludes with a free outdoor event on Friday from 3pm–5pm, featuring a silent disco, stalls, donations, foodbank collections and more.
The week is being delivered in partnership with Caerphilly Cares, Public Health Wales and Cwtsh, with support from a range of local services and organisations.
Cllr Carol Andrews, Cabinet Member for Education and Communities, said:
