Set against the stunning backdrop of the lake and surrounding countryside, the Aqua Park promises a fun-filled, high-energy experience, with 45-minute sessions priced at £18.50 per person, designed for families, groups and thrill-seekers alike. Open throughout the school summer holidays, it’s the perfect place to cool off, get active and make the most of summer. The Aqua Park will launch with a revised layout for the 2026 season, following final quality and safety checks. This ensures the experience meets Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water’s standards, while longer-term plans continue to be reviewed. The extreme slide, giant climbing challenge, balance and bounce zones, i-hop jump zone, tunnel dash and scramble, are all set to deliver an action-packed experience for visitors. The new Aqua Park is set within the beautiful surroundings of Llys-y-frân country park, where visitors can also enjoy bike hire, a free-to-use bike skills track, an exciting adventure playground, and miles of scenic walking and cycling trails around the lake and surrounding countryside. Visitors can also relax and refuel at the on-site café, offering a range of food and drink with views across the lake, the perfect spot to unwind before or after enjoying the Aqua Park. For those looking to extend their stay, Llys-y-frân also offers a well-equipped Visit Wales four star graded campsite, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the landscape and enjoy everything the site has to offer.
