#StepsToGenderEquality

Wales’ leading gender equality charity is calling on people to put their best foot forward and take strides towards achieving a fairer nation for all.

Chwarae Teg is launching a July fundraising challenge – #StepsToGenderEquality, which will support its work towards a more equal Wales where all women can achieve and prosper.

Registration to join the challenge, which begins on 1 July, is now open at https://bit.ly/StepsToGenderEquality, with sign-up available from £10.

Claire Foster, Fundraising Manager, Chwarae Teg, said: ”

“In 1968 the Dagenham sewing machinists walked out for equal pay and #StepsToGenderEquality means that together we can walk towards closing the gender pay gap for good too.

“We wanted the challenge to be fun, and not only benefit gender equality, but also the health and well-being of participants.

“I’d encourage anyone to look at signing up as it’s designed to be accessible for all ages and abilities, and people can pick a target or set their own. Doing so will make real difference to the valuable work we do.”
