Llwynhendy Family centre cops £200

The Ty Enfys Family Centre in Cefn Caeau is to benefit from a grant of £200 thanks to a donation from Dyfed Powys Police’s Property Act Fund.

The drop in centre offers a variety of services and information for local residents, including operating a father’s club and issuing information about healthier living.

“This centre operates in a deprived area, and offers valuable services to the local residents,” said PCSO Tom Edwards, who nominated the centre for the grant. “This money has come from the Dyfed Powys Police Property Act Fund, and I hope it will go towards helping these services continue in Cefn Caeau.”

The Police Property Act Fund consists of the proceeds of unclaimed property in police possession.
