At the awards ceremony celebrating the very best of the county’s vibrant tourism sector, St Brides was recognised for the extensive refurbishment programme that has greatly enhanced the exceptional spa retreat since the Collection began managing the hotel for its new owners, The Port of Milford Haven, in 2024.

Roch Castle, where The Celtic Collection partners with Retreats Group, was recognised for its luxury boutique B&B offering in a restored 12th Century Norman fortress with spectacular 360-degree views from its spectacular location atop a rocky outcrop.

Julie Hammond, Chief Executive of The Celtic Collection said: “We are absolutely delighted to win these awards and congratulations to the teams at St Brides and Roch Castle whose commitment and dedication make this recognition possible.

“These awards shine a light on the incredible hospitality we have in West Wales and the people who work hard every day to give visitors a reason to choose Pembrokeshire and Wales.”

The Croeso Awards add to a year of exceptional achievement for The Celtic Collection which was named Hotel Group of the Year at the AA Hospitality Awards in September while its flagship property, Celtic Manor Resort, completed a notable double by winning Best UK Hotel at both the Meetings & Incentive Travel and the Conference & Incentive Travel Awards.

As well as the success on stage, The Celtic Collection’s culinary and restaurant teams helped Pembrokeshire College students prepare for and deliver the awards ceremony through a collaborative mentoring programme.

Emma Thornton, Chief Executive of Visit Pembrokeshire, said the awards recognised the people behind the county’s visitor businesses.

“The Croeso Awards are an opportunity to recognise the hard work, creativity and care that go into welcoming visitors to Pembrokeshire,” she said.

“Behind every winner is a person or team committed to making their guests’ experience special. This year’s winners reflect the breadth of our tourism industry, from distinctive places to stay and eat to memorable activities and businesses helping make tourism more inclusive and sustainable.”
