Our next walk is this Saturday 2nd August at Carmel Nature Reserve. We will meet at 10am in the Stag & Pheasant Pub car park which is on the road to Carmel.

We will go to Carmel Woods, turlough and nature reserve. This walk has a number of steep inclines and is quite strenuous although, you don’t have to be super-fit to enjoy this walk, just in reasonably good health.

It is not really suitable for those with mobility issues or very young children. We will be walking at a leisurely pace to allow for all fitness levels, taking in the breath taking scenery.

Appropriate footwear is a must. Also, a bottle of water would be advisable. It is a fabulous place to practice your photography skills.
