PONTHENRI SCHOOL THINKS OF OTHERS

 

 

Mae Ysgol Ponthenri wedi bod yn weithgar iawn eleni yn meddwl am eraill fel rhan o’i phrosiect ‘Aelodau o Deulu Mawr y Byd.’

Codwyd £70.00 i Blant Mewn Angen gyda ymweliad gyda Pudsey, £66.10 i elusen ‘Jeans for Genes’ ac anfonwyd dros 30 o focsys esgidiau yn llawn anrhegion i ‘Operation Christmas Child.’

Llwyddiant hefyd yn derbyn siec o £1,000 o’r Grant Loteri i ddatblygu gardd yr Ysgol ymhellach.

Bydd y gwaith yma yn mynd yn ei flaen Gwanwyn 2011, gyda’r plant yn tyfu, coginio a bwyta llysiau â dyfwyd yn yr ardd.

 

Ponthenri School has been extremely busy this year thinking of others as part of its project ‘Members of the World Wide Family.’

The School raised £70.00 for Children in Need and were rewarded with a visit from Pudsey. £66.10 was raised for the charity ‘Jeans for Genes’ and over 30 shoe boxes full of presents were sent to ‘Operation Christmas Child.’

It was also successful in receiving a Lottery Grant and accepted a cheque for £1,000 to develop the School Garden further.

This work will commence in Spring 2011, with the children growing, cooking and eating vegetables that they will grow in the garden.
