The Friends of Llanelli Railway Station is being formed as a constituted group and is calling for volunteers to join them in revamping our station. A Health and Safety briefing will be given on Tuesday 17th February from 9.30 -10.30 and if you are interested in joining and helping please come to this briefing.
Last year our MP Nia Griffiths backed calls for the renovation of the railway stations at Llanelli and Bynea and the formation of groups to facilitate this. The group intends to look for funding to revamp the façade of the station, improve and look after the plant holders, introduce directional notice boards and interpretation panels, and improve parking facilities.
