As a PCSO, you will perform one of the most demanding yet rewarding roles in the South Wales Police Force and you will inspire confidence in the community by:

· working as part of a neighbourhood policing team, supporting community officer and community teams in solving local problems
· helping to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour
· dealing with minor offences
. high visibility foot patrols
· providing security at major events
· presenting evidence in court
· spending time at local schools educating youths about crime reduction and community safety

Police Community Support Officers are a vital link between the community and the police service to make sure everyone has the support they need.
