The first Oxford AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccinations were delivered by GP practices yesterday to people aged 80 years and over.
Mrs Margaret Stevens, aged 92, from Llanelli was very happy to be one of the first patients in the community to receive her vaccine as well as Bury Port resident Mr Clifford Jones, aged 85.
More surgeries across the three counties are getting prepared to vaccinate patients, who are 80 and over, in the coming days and weeks.
Also pictured are staff in Pembrokeshire making preparations by vaccinating the vaccinators. Pictured is surgery nurse, Janet Redburn, receiving her vaccine from lead practice nurse Rhian Mathias.
Weâd like to assure those in this priority group (80 and over), that they will be contacted by their GP to arrange a vaccine appointment. Please donât contact your GP or pharmacist. Thank you to everyone for their patience at this time.
