Eto, in partnership with Hwb Bach y Wlad, is excited to announce a series of pop-up events across Carmarthenshire, offering residents the opportunity to purchase unique, budget-friendly, and upcycled gifts this holiday season. These events aim to promote sustainability and reduce waste, embracing the principles of a circular economy.

The pop-up events will take place at the following locations:

  • Kidwelly: 11 November
  • Llanybydder: 28 November
  • Llandeilo: 5 December
  • Whitland: 10 December

Residents are encouraged to explore a range of repaired and re-purposed items, perfect for thoughtful gifts that help protect the planet. By choosing second-hand and upcycled products, the community can contribute to reducing carbon footprints and minimizing waste, making this Christmas both special and sustainable.

Each event will showcase a variety of items, including home goods, toys, and decorative pieces, all aimed at giving new life to previously loved items. Residents can also learn more about the importance of upcycling and how they can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Councillor Aled Vaughan Owen, Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Decarbonisation and Sustainability, said:

We are thrilled to collaborate with Hwb Bach y Wlad to bring these pop-up events to our community. This initiative not only provides affordable gift options but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy. We invite everyone to join us in making a positive impact this holiday season.”
