(10 April 2025) The Caravan and Motorhome Club are big believers in the great outdoors and all the benefits it brings. The Club’s Tourer Explorer campsites help inspire kids to be nature detectives, wellie wanderers, budding artists, bug collectors and outdoor adventurers!
Tourer Explorer, launched back in 2014, now has 59 Club campsites taking part in this family-friendly offering. Campsites span across the UK, from Godrevy Park Club Campsite in the south west all the way up to Stonehaven Queen Elizabeth Park Club Campsite in Scotland.
To bring this to life, every Tourer Explorer campsite has the following:
- Giant garden games
- A trail to complete across the campsite – these are completely unique to the campsite. The campsite staff work really hard to make these brilliant!
- Seasonal activity sheets which includes everything from colour to spot the differences, nature quizzes and puzzles
- Sticker sheets (who doesn’t love a sticker?!)
- New for 2025, each child that completes a campsite trail will receive a certificate, signed by campsite staff, to help celebrate their achievement
- There’s also new collectable Tourer Explorer animal badges
Harvey Alexander, director of marketing and membership services said, “We welcome and encourage families to explore the great outdoors together, with children or grandchildren alike. Tourer Explorer helps young ones to connect with nature and ignite their imagination and creativity.”
