Walkers who joined Carmarthenshire Wildlife Watch (LlanelliTown.com Project No: R899) Walk Leaders, Jo & Trixie took to Kidwelly Quay in search of wildlife.

The walk started at 9am and was a leisurely walk from the car park, and lasted two and a half hours. Wildlife spotted was fungus and a variety of birds ranging from Lapwings to Swans to Golden Plovers.

A new member to the group said, ‘I enjoyed the leisurely walk and learning about the different birds’, while another member said ‘I had a great morning and was interested to see species of birds unknown to me’.

The next walk will take place on the costal path in Llanelli, more details will be available soon on Facebook.
