FROM STEEL TO STAGE
The life and career of David John Jones (Dai Tenor)
From the poorest of Welsh working class backgrounds, with little education, this man is thrust into a life time of facing the furious furnaces of the local steelworks!
Fate intervenes when a unique tenor voice is discovered and an exciting new chapter in his life begins.
The Pontardawe Heritage & Visitors Centre hosts this exhibition of a remarkable life and career on Thursdays through Saturdays (10am-1pm) from August 5th until September 25th.
