- Charli XCX is just 5/4 to take home the Album of the Year accolade at this year’s BRITs.
- The Beatles are the 11/8 favourites to win the Song of the Year BRIT Award in 2025.
- The Last Dinner Party are Evens favourites to take home the New Artist prize at this year’s BRITs.
- Dua Lipa has won seven BRITs so far, and she is 2/1 to make that eight with an Album of the Year victory for Radical Optimism.
The Beatles have received their first BRIT Award nomination for more than 40 years when they landed a nod in the Song of the Year category ahead of this year’s BRITs.
The Beatles are there or thereabouts when it comes to their chances of winning Song of the Year.
However, in-form Charli XCX might have something to say about that.
Brat’ll Do Nicely For Charli
Brat was infectious, and if Charli scoops Album of the Year in early March then we could be heading for a Brat Spring.
The album had huge worldwide influence and played a massive part in Charli receiving seven Grammys nods, and she is just 5/4 to take home the Album of the Year accolade at this year’s BRITs.
She will face stiff competition from The Last Dinner Party’s Prelude to Ecstasy (13/8) and Dua Lipa.
Dua has won seven BRITs so far, and she is 2/1 to make that eight with an Album of the Year victory for Radical Optimism. But Charli could stand in her way.
The pair will do battle again for the Artist of the Year accolade, and Charli is just 11/10 to win that prize, narrowly ahead of 6/4 shot Dua.
Hey Jade, Don’t Be Afraid
If you had said five years ago that The Beatles would be going up against Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall for a Song of the Year BRIT Award in 2025 there would have been some surprise reactions and plenty of whispering behind your back.
This is no easy category with a whopping 15 nominees, but The Beatles are the 11/8 favourites, just ahead of Jade, or JADE as she likes to be referred to nowadays, at 13/8.
Dua also looks set to go close in the Song of the Year category, but the 15/8 shot could just miss out and 2025’s Rising Star award winner Myles Smith is also up for Song of the Year.
His tune Stargazing is a 4/1 chance, while Sam Ryder’s festive track, You’re Christmas To Me is an outsider at 8/1.
The Last Dinner Party Hoping For Seconds
The Last Dinner Party could be in line for some double delight in the New Artist and Group of the Year categories.
The 2024 Rising Star winners are Evens favourites to take home the New Artist prize at this year’s BRITs, and they look set to go head-to-head with Coldplay for the Group of the Year gong.
However, Coldplay lead the way as 7/4 frontrunners, ahead of 2/1 shots The Last Dinner Party and 5/2 chances The Cure. However, Ezra Collective shouldn’t be ruled out in either category.
The Mercury Prize winners have scored four BRITs nods ahead of the ceremony, and they are just 13/8 to win Best New Artist and 3/1 for the Group of the Year prize.
