On Saturday 11th Novmber we (Andrew Price and Jago) held a Ladies afternoon tea and fashion show at Plas Hyfred hotel in aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association. The idea is to raise awareness as well as funds for the charity in the lead up to January 15th when 2 of the Andrew Price stylists, Emma Price of the Narberth salon and Tracey Carleton from the Carmarthen Auction Rooms salon, will be climbing Kilimanjaro in the memory of Dicky Parry, who lost his fight with the disease in 2016. I was hoping you would be able to run a small article just to thank all those involved and include the total raised on the night. I have attached photo of the Andrew Price staff with Dicky’s wife Gill and details of the people who donated raffle prizes and those involved in puting on a fabulous night. Emma has a just giving page online which people can donate via and there are sponsor forms in all of our salons as well as several charity boxes in the shops of Narberth.
£1541 was raised on Saturday just on the raffles at the event, with our lovely client from Narberth Wendy Lees winning first prize of free haircare for a year as well as a years supply of free hair products. This brings the total raised from ticket sales and the main raffle ticket sales from across all the Andrew Price salons to £5685. Absolutely all moneys raised will be going directly to the charities as Andrew Price is sponsoring the total cost of the trip/climb
The total funds raisied will be split between MNDA and the Intensive care unit at Withybush.
